Our Time at CES 2021!

2021 is off to a great start for the IronRooster team. We took part in the CES 2021 event which – despite having a virtual format this year – was just as fun as ever.

We were expecting three days of mind-blowing innovations, informational sessions, and exciting networking opportunities. Well, we weren’t disappointed.

As we are in the healthtech field, we were most looking forward to discussions about digital health. It’s always important for IronRooster to be up-to-date with what’s going on in the healthtech industry, so we attend events like CES shows to find out about the current hot topics in the world of digital health.

Day 1 offered us an amazing variety of sessions, including “Telemedicine Skyrockets to Mainstream” and “Trust and The Impact of AI on Health Care” where we heard astonishing statistics about the rapid rise of telemedicine solutions. Day 2 had similarly interesting discussions, our favorite of which was “Essential Technologies for the New Health Revolution”. This session discussed many important new insights to the field, such as building trust in the time of telemedicine.

Aside from virtually attending sessions and mingling with the attendees, we were excited to see the innovations that received the CES 2021 Innovation Award. There were far too many amazing ideas to list all of the honorees here, but we have a few favorites in the health and wellness category that we’d like to give a shoutout to.

EyeQue VisionCheck 2 by EyeQue Corporation is a smartphone-powered ophthalmic refractometer that tests your eyesight in the comfort of your home.

__

Epsy Health by Epsy is a much-needed solution for managing epilepsy. It has functions to track seizures and other important data vital for people living with epilepsy.

__

Many of us at IronRooster lead a health-conscious lifestyle, so we appreciate innovations like Nuvy Lab’s AI Food Scanner which helps users with important dietary information about food items they use.

__

Last, but certainly not least, a clear favorite for us was BioIntelliSense Inc.’s BioButton. According to its description on CES’s website, the BioButton is a coin-sized disposable wearable device that continuously measures temperature, heart rate and respiratory rate at rest and analyzes statistical changes that may indicate the signs and symptoms of an early COVID-19 infection. No question about it, it’s a solution that we all welcome with open arms – and one providing a glimmer of hope that the return to in-person events is within arm’s reach.

That’s a wrap on CES 2021, but one thing’s for sure – whether next year’s festivities are in-person or virtual, IronRooster will be there!
