SafeTrace Tx® is an FDA approved modular transfusion management system that allows blood bankers to manage patient and blood product information and to assist in determining blood product suitability for patient transfusion. This solution is equipped with patented features that ensure patient transfusion safety and guard against mistakes and protect patients from transfusion errors. It also offers new and improved data visualizations that provide interactive dashboards and analytics for operational, management and quality reporting for transfusion services.
We played a significant role in analyzing requirements, defining the scope of development, preparing the specifications as well as managing the development process. In addition to planning and development, we used a separate team to conduct both manual and automated testing of the solution. Our experts helped manage the process for FDA 510(k) clearance including defining and preparing the documentation for submission. The development was conducted in close collaboration with our client. With their assistance and using their input we fleshed out the User Interfaces and workflows. We presented our developments on a bi-weekly basis to our client. We visited both our client and the end-user on several occasions to present the product to their upper management and future users.
